A few industrious days hauling from Seraphim to Orison with the Hull-A have past. Quite profitable, yet not as much as it should have been. Each trip conglomerates 5 to 6 Hauling missions, but when turning them in at Orison only 2 or when lucky 4 get registered. So with money in my pocket I got to buy the Prospector I went to Lorville and go it!
I have heard that for mining, Pyro is the new hot deal, so lets go!
Terminus will witness my first steps in Pyro-mining!
Very impressive planet! Yet I could not imagine one more tedious to fly around in. With its high atmospheric density, the maximum travel speed is of 130m/s!! You have to climb over 7k to get faster.
Four trips to the refinery later, and I already had about 520k aUEC in ores being refined! The ores in of itselfe is the same as in Stanton. The rock clusters on Terminus are few an far apart (at least so it feels with the low travel speeds). Yet when you find one, they are loaded with rocks. I found one with 18 rocks! (all small and Beryl…). I even found enough ore for 1 SCU of Riccite!!
One rock stood out today—not for the profit it yielded, nor for the challenge it presented in the moment. This rock was a symbol, a promise of what lies ahead in the mining trade. It was a glimpse into a future of industrial ambition and collaboration.
This solitary giant spoke with clarity and purpose: for a time when we’ll need not just larger ships, but the camaraderie of a dedicated crew, working together to unlock the true potential of the ships. It whispered of teamwork, ingenuity, and the boundless opportunities that await those willing to rise to the challenge.
It truly is beautiful!
We will see where I will mine next time, for there is much yet to be seen on other worlds.
