Last night Wyldecard, Jaggr, Wikkett and I went down to one on Daymar for a bounty mission, soon after landing a player Hornet came down and took out Wyldecard’s Cutty Red in which he had some filled cargo boxes. We pushed on with our mission at the PAF and also decided to show Wylde and Jaggr around it since it was their first time and get the new Quartz SMG for them. I went to check the dish activation status and saw we could activate it with two more alignment cards, so we decided to do that as well so they could see the worms and also gain access to the final loot room where the OLP battery is located. Meanwhile every time we looked into the sky there was a massive air battle happening, missiles flying everywhere and even stray shots hitting around us.

We put in one card and fought off the worms and NPC Nine-tails quickly followed by the final card and wave of worms, the loot room opened and it held a Spectre quantum drive, the last one we really needed for our Armory. We grabbed it with a tractor and ran away from the dish to hide in the hills overlooking it while we called for a pickup. While we made it to some boulders we tucked ourselves into it the best we could when a freaking Polaris came down and was hover right over us with the lower turret manned shooting NPC’s on the ground. Then an Idris showed up and the Polaris took off to fight it! We decided now was the time to make our way to Wylde’s husk of a Cutty to get his cargo boxes and get to a big open spot near there because Cadoyle was on his way with his Idris to pick us up!

Running along the outskirts of the PAF we kept an eye on the sky which was full of fire and ships, that other Idris that the Polaris was now engaging was firing off its laser and our view of it – about 10km away was awe inspiring. One of those moment when your like.. holy shit this game. We made it to a new spot and we huddled again as Cadoyle quickly swooped in firing off noise to keep him masked as we made our way onto the ship.. but poor Wylde was suffocating as he had run out of oxygen in his suit! Crawling up the ramp of the Idris with his medgun out continously pumping that green goo to keep himself alive he made it into the Idris hangar with less then 10 seconds to live and we quickly flew off to CRU L1, everyone alive and with our newly acquired Spectre plus Wylde’s Cargo!
